Strong Support for Cyber Conference

Tasmania’s cyber security community gathered for the 2026 TasICT-AISA Cyber Security Conference – at a time when cyber security has never been more important for Tasmania’s digital economy.
Thank you to every attendee, speaker, sponsor, exhibitor, volunteer and event partner who helped make the conference such a success. The willingness of our community to share their knowledge and challenges continues to be one of the great strengths of Tasmania’s technology sector.
This year the conference broaded beyond technical expertise and product decisions to include boardroom issues with a governance and risk overlay.
Cyber security is no longer just a technical challenge. It is a leadership, business and community priority.
A special thank you to our keynote speakers, Professor Debi Ashenden from UNSW and Darren Kane nbn Chief Security Officer for sharing their expertise and long history of involvement in the cyber securty space.
We will be shortly posting the conference photo gallery so keep an eye out. Thanks to our naming partner AISA and all our sponsors for again supporting the Tasmanian tech community.
