2025 AGM Meeting Report & Elections

TasICT held its AGM on 21 November 2025 with optimism and determination for the year ahead and a commitment to help Tasmania adopt innovation and beneficial new technology with confidence.

The Committee reported a strong year of growth, with a record number of members, record attendance at TasICT events, and increasing impact in our advocacy programs.

Meeting documents and reports were distributed to all members prior to the AGM.

We are pleased to announce the election of our new Committee Members for a two-year term, expiring at the 2027 AGM:

  • Nicole Herbert (University of Tasmania)

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contibutes to TasICT and nominated for the committee elections. This year we had 14 individuals nominating for six positions – evidence of immense interest in helping Tasmania adopt beneficial technology and innovation.

Your willingness to contribute and support TasICT is what makes our community strong and vibrant.
