TasICT Launches “Global Growth” Initiative with Networking Events in Hobart and Launceston
TasICT is excited to announce the launch of the “Global Growth” project—a new initiative designed to empower Tasmanian ICT businesses to better understand international trade and connect with mentors who have shown the way.
The Global Growth events will provide practical support, mentorship, and collaborative opportunities to help businesses build export capability, access new markets, and create jobs.
TasICT CEO Russell Kelly said the events would allow Tasmanian tech businesses to better understand the paths to expansion.
“By bringing together successful exporters, trade mentors, and innovators, we’re creating an environment where businesses can learn from each other, share ideas, and develop the skills needed to access new markets,” Mr Kelly said.
The Global Growth program supports the Tasmanian Trade Strategy and is made possible by the Tasmanian Government and the Department of State Growth and is designed to ensure the tech sector is encouraged to look for export opportunities.
